This program prepares the students to enter the workplace as HAZMAT maintenance technicians, occupational health and safety specialists, chemical safety technicians, inspectors, or quality control technicians.

The student will understand the importance of working with safety on your mind at all times. Learn the safety processes and safety permit systems. Know the meaning of PPE, HAZCOM, DOT, OSHA, PSM, EPA, HAZWOPER, and many other terms you will hear regularly in a plant environment. Know the importance of protecting the environment we live in and protecting your personal health.
